SMC is WNS’s revolutionary new stabilizer constructed from modern high tensile strength carbon, making it stronger and stiffer. With its highly durable 3K carbon fabric surface, the SMC stabilizing system has improved dampening qualities, shock absorbance and torque control.
Unlike other stabilizers the thickness of the SMC tube wall varies, helping it to absorb high levels of shock very quickly. The rod wall measures 0.0275” (0.7mm) at the front and 0.0787” (2mm) at the base. This creates reduces movement at the end of the rod and absorbing vibration throughout the length of the stabilizer rather than pushing it back into the bow.

Shrewd 600 Pro Short Rod:
High Modulus Smooth Sealed Carbon, with a thin wall, creates a very light but stiff stabilizer. O.D. of the stabilizer is .660in. Supplied with 3x 1oz and 2x 1/3oz weights (total of 5 end weights) internal rubber dampening. Stabilizer length is measured without the weights. A 3 inch stainless steel threaded rod is standard to allow adding as many as 9 weights per stabilizer in total. Description
The Vektor features a taper design, multiple internal damping options and the best combination of stiffness, wind efficiency, and damping that has ever been brought to market.
The Vektor front stabilizer begins at an outer diameter of 0.63 inch and sleekly transitions down to a 0.5 inch outer diameter. This allows for more stiffness at the base of the stabilizer where it experiences the most stress, and creates greater wind efficiency at the tip where the stabilizer experiences the highest amount of buffeting and torque from the wind. The Vektor side rods are the same carbon layup as the long rod but feature a 0.56 inch to 0.5 inch taper.
