It is used in a variety of leather products.

The leather is highly water-repellent due to its high fat content. If there are large temperature differences, it can have a whitish coating that is caused by fat escaping from the leather. This can be quickly and easily polished away with a soft cloth. The name comes from the Spanish city of Cordoba, where this special processing of leather was first practiced.

Particularly suitable for archery, as the leather hardly stretches due to the constant strain on the fingers and tendons, thus ensuring a constant extension and anchor point. Each component of this tab has been designed to conform to the contours of the shooting hand, supporting correct technique and ensuring a secure fit. A notice: You are a right-handed archer if you hold the bow with your left hand and draw the string with your right hand. You are a left-handed shooter if you hold the bow with your right hand and draw the string with your left hand.
